St. Frances Cabrini Catholic School offers Extended Care for students in Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade. Our program provides a safe, caring, and welcoming environment where students can enjoy time with friends, participate in activities, play, and complete homework before or after the regular school day.
Our Extended Care staff supports the values of St. Frances Cabrini School by providing students with respectful guidance and a nurturing Christian environment.
Extended Care Hours
Kindergarten–8th Grade
- Morning: 6:45 a.m.–8:00 a.m.
- Afternoon: 3:00–6:00 p.m.
Pre-Kindergarten
- Morning: 7:00–8:00 a.m.
- Afternoon: 3:00–5:00 p.m.
Registration & Fees
A one-time, non-refundable registration fee of $25 per student is required to enroll in Extended Care.
Registered students:
- $9 per hour for the first child
- $7 per hour for each additional child
Drop-in care:
- $10 per hour per child for students who are not registered
Registration is recommended for families who anticipate needing Extended Care during the school year. Space is limited, and enrollment is offered on a first-come, first-served basis when applications exceed available spaces.
School-Year Availability
Extended Care begins on the first day of school and ends at dismissal on the last day of school. The program is not available on days when school is not in session.
Please check the school calendar and the School portal for half days, holidays, and other schedule changes that may affect Extended Care availability.
What Students Can Expect
Students enjoy a variety of age-appropriate activities in a safe and supportive environment. Depending on the day and weather, activities may include:
- Outdoor and indoor play
- Creative and enrichment activities
- Games and social activities
- Homework time
- Snack time
- Opportunities for quiet activities and relaxation
Outdoor play is offered when weather permits. Families are encouraged to provide a healthy snack for their child to enjoy during afternoon Extended Care.

Extended Care is more than a place for students to wait before or after school.
